Today at Holy Cross we celebrated the Supper of the Lord according to the 1549 Prayer Book with only the prayer the King Edward modified. It was the first prayer book and the first full liturgy in English. After communion we retired to a local pub to feast. I followed one of our church members and noticed this tag. Just as she came from the England to the US in 1962, today we brought the 1st Prayer book from England to Holy Cross on Pentacost 2010
