Rendezvous in Washington

Amy, Tyson, and I stand on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial--our last stop after a nice tour of a few sites in the city on this stop of their vacation. Jeffersons word still move one and seem eternal. He rightly bases all rights as stemming from God, for if all we have is the common will of men the freedom and the pursuit of good men is no inallienable right, but merely a passing fad and ultimately all "rights" are illusions and dependent on the will of those who rule.
