Jamestown 2009

1607, the Third Sunday after Trinity and the first English Holy Communion in the Americas. About 25 faithful Anglicans and guests gathered in the Jamestown Church today using the form of worship appointed in the 1559 BCP as printed in 1604 and the metrical hymns first composed in Geneva years before by the exiles of the Church of England. All was accomplished in conformity with the Constitution and Canons of 1604.
