Secession Suppressed

Kemp Hall. Market & Church. Lincoln was holding a certain number of Baltimore legislators in custody so as to prevent them from voting here in April 1861. If they had not been under arrest (violation of the Constitution as Lincoln illegally suspended Habeas Corpus), Maryland would have likely seceded. The SCOTUS is in deliberation now over the law that forces each American to purchase healthcare insurance as yet another breach of American's rights -- as it is considered by many to be a direct violation of several parts of the Constitution not to mention the assault on religion in forcing groups to offer birth control and abortion.
