Lows Station Bridge c1848

There is a war marker here that recounts the march of Howard's XI Corps in late June of 1863. Destination--unknown, but stop Lee and the ANV. They had a rendezvous in the town of Gettysburg. After Gettysburg in early July, US forces again passed over this old bridge and Meade encamped just down the road at Creagerstown.
