I am enjoying a nice visit at the Fort Benning museum. They have refurbished some of the WWII temporary buildings that were the same as I first used when the 2/502d If returned from Vietnam to fort Campbell. This chapel is still in active use. Also saw Patton's Quarters. I appreciated the museum. It stands as a witness to those who have passed through these gates and to infantrymen of every generation. Uncle Earl was a training officer here in the 40s and son Tyson earned his wings here.
